Around Town| It was good to see all the people that came out to clean up during the power outage. I think the idea of getting people involved during the outage and in conjunction with the pancake breakfast was a great idea but there were a lot more people lined up to get the free pancakes than to kick in a half hour or so to tidy up around our city. All the people that did take a bag and pick up some of the mess that shows up when the snow melts, give yourself a big pat on the back, well done. |

Natural Wonders| This Mallard was swimming around through all the ice like it was a big maze and he was trying to find his way out, I guess that the longer it took the less ice there was so eventually he would find his way out. |

Natural Wonders| I stopped on my way to my office this morning to shoot this shot of sunrise over the Lake of the Woods because it was so beautiful and looked so peaceful and when I arrived at work I checked my email and this was what someone had written "I have to say every time I go into your photos I find them so relaxing and I am so happy we can view them anytime.....thanks" certainly made my day....
